The potato field, that brought the 4 furry pigs from Voss, was the idea of scenographer Øystein Nesheim. During 2016 he spent quite a lot of time in the Kronstad-forest, working on scenography for the conference.
He worked with Gro Eide and her talented students and during late summer their giant collaborative artwork unfolded.
Nesheim made paint from iron oxide, derived from the abandoned railway-waste found in the forest-ground. A tent-like structure was set up, its fabrics ornamented with the Alphabet from Thomas More's Utopia along with alchymic symbols of air, fire, earth and water. Jon Gjerde's drafts for his hangglider dance were integrated in the ornament
